This privacy policy (“Policy” or “Privacy Policy”) is applicable to potential franchisees, business partners, associates, vendors, dealers, customers and all others (“Information Providers” or “You”), who disclose their personal information which essentially includes any information that relates to you, which either directly or indirectly, in combination with other information available or likely to be available with us, is capable of identifying You or sensitive personal information including inter-alia passwords, financial information (such as bank account details), etc. directly by expressly providing such information, and indirectly, by using the FIITJEE franchise application portal of the Company (“Personal Information”).

The purpose of this Policy, as amended from time to time, is to give You an understanding on how the Company intends to collect, receive, possess, store, transfer, handle, deal with and use the Personal Information provided to the Company.

Personal Information pertaining to You may be required to be collected, maintained, and transferred for business and for the purposes of evaluating You as a potential franchisee of the Company. Such Personal Information may also be required to be shared with FIITJEE group of companies, as per lawful business requirements of the Company. The Company will ensure confidentiality of such Personal Information and grievances, if any, related to such matters will be resolved by the grievance officer appointed by the Company for this purpose (“Grievance Officer”).

By registering Yourself as a user on our franchise application portal, visiting our website and/or subscribing to avail our services, You are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to fully abide by all the terms and conditions as contained herein.

What Information the Company May Collect

The Company may collect the following types of Personal Information, including but not limited to:

1. name, contact details, address, etc.;
2. your qualifications, business profile, etc. provided to us as a part of the application for obtaining a franchise from the Company;
3. financial details such as bank account, pan card, credit / debit card information;
4. password used for the systems, websites or web applications of the Company; and
5. device information, cookies (a small text file sent by Your device that is unique to Your browser to record log data, analyze trends, gather demographic information or track navigation through our website or web applications), log data (which may include Your IP address, browser type and settings, operating system, the referring web page, pages visited, location) and the like shared automatically with the Company through Your access of its web services.

Purpose of Collection

The Company may collect, use, receive, possess, store, disclose, process, and transfer the Personal Information for various purposes, including but not limited to, the following:

1. confirming who You are, when we can contact You and internal record keeping;
2. using the information to evaluate your profile as a potential franchisee of the Company;
3. using the information to improve our products and services;
4. contacting you to keep you updated with our education information through email, telephone and/or SMS;
5. investigating complaints, claims, and incidents;
6. complying with the code of conduct, internal regulations, and policies of the Company or any legal requirements;
7. sending you announcements, newsletters, promotional materials, and other information about our services and third-party products and services that we think may be of interest to you;
8. collecting fees and other amounts in relation to Your application;
9. administration and management of IT services; and/ or
10. otherwise carrying out obligations in relation to any agreement the Information Providers have with the Company.

From time to time, we may also use your Personal Information to contact you via email, phone, or mail for market research purposes.

1. Protection: The security, integrity and confidentiality of Your Personal Information is extremely important to us. We have implemented technical, administrative, and physical security measures that are designed to protect Your Personal Information from unauthorized access, disclosure, use and modification. From time to time, we review our security procedures to consider appropriate new technology and methods.
2. Unauthorised access. While we take reasonable precautions to safeguard Your Personal Information in our possession or under our control, You agree not to hold us liable or responsible for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorised or unintended access that is beyond our control, such as hacking or cybercrimes.

Disclosure to authorities: We may be required to share the aforesaid information with government authorities and agencies for the purposes of verification of identity or for prevention, detection, investigation including cyber incidents, prosecution, and punishment of offences.
